My inspirations
Every good writer has been, previously, a good reader. And continues to be one. There’s a quote that says books are doors to other worlds. I believe so. When you open them, you cross barriers and can land on another planet, meet new people, and get excited about adventures new or as old as the Universe. But, where does the inspiration for each of the created stories come from?
Observation is, in many cases, the source we writers drink from. Not only from nature, but also from people’s reactions because, yes, we must admit, we are nosy. Or curious, in its euphemistic version.
That invites us to dream, either asleep or awake, and imagine scenes, conversations, places… So, writer friend, observe, jot down, and dive into writing.
